Made and gathered with care

A small shop for the things you use every day.

Field & Grain started at a kitchen table in Alder, with a shelf of mismatched bowls and a simple feeling: the things we use most should be the ones we like best. We began with a small run of stoneware, then added the linens and tools we couldn't stop recommending.

Everything we carry is made in small batches — some in our own studio, most by a handful of makers we know by name. Nothing flashy, nothing throwaway. Just good, quiet objects for a life lived at home.

Nora Fields — Founder & buyer

What we stand behind.

Three things we won't compromise on — because a home is built from the pieces you keep.

Made to last

Solid stoneware, full-grain wood and heavyweight linen — chosen to be handed down, not replaced. If something doesn't hold up, we'll make it right.

Natural materials

Clay, wood, linen and glass, finished with food-safe glazes and natural oils. Materials that feel good in the hand and age gracefully with use.

Small batch

Made in short runs by makers we know, so each piece gets real attention and no two are ever quite alike. When a run sells out, we make more.

Kind words

From homes like yours.

  • The stoneware mugs have become the only ones anyone in this house will use. Warm, weighty, and somehow they make the morning coffee taste better.

  • I bought the linen napkins as a housewarming gift and immediately ordered a second set for myself. Beautiful things, packed with real care.
Daniel & Reese gifted for a new home
  • You can tell everything is chosen by someone who actually uses it. Nothing precious, nothing wasteful — just pieces we reach for every day.
